BIOGRAPHY
Born in Costa Rica. Came to USA when I was 12 years old. Graduated from Loyola Jesuit HS; and went to USC for a degree in Chemical Engineering. Worked for oil company UNOCAL for 37 years; and for the next 18 years I consulted and presented technical seminars. Throughout the years, I’ve loved photography, particularly in color, but also enjoyed black & white work. I’ve sold some of my photographic studies.

Bernie and his wife Ann, also a photographer, joined me in Chicago and I absolutely loved having them on this tour because it’s so nice to see couples who thoroughly enjoy a hobby together. Few of the participants in my tours have shown such sincere interest in continual learning and are as prolific and involved in photography as Bernie, and I love the reflection shot he’s submitted here, the action and emotion of the child playing bring the viewer right into the scene and one can’t help but smile when enjoying this image.
